stranger #2
Reading the book stranger makes you think more about the people in the world and if they are anything like Meursault. I think they are people today just like him because they are a lot of people that do not talk out on what they are feeling. Also a lot of people could careless about the other people around them and pretend to be mad at the world. But what they don't know is that they are noot hurting anyone but theirselves because they are pushing everyone away and they won't have anyone to express their feelings to. What I am still confuse about is why he acts like this? Was there something in his childhood that force him to act like this now or he just doesnt care for anyone and decides just not to care at all.

Who is This Guy?
I think Mersault is just a confuse guy. He doesn't know his own feelings and he doesn't know how to react to certain situations. He seems like a regular guy and knows a lot of people in the neighborhood. But his attitude is like he doesn't care about nothing that goes on around him as long as he his living and doing what he has to do. I thought it was really strange the reaction he had towards his mother's death because usually when someone mother dies they would breal down crying and wouldn't believe it. But his reaction was like oh, she finally died it was about time she been living for to long. When I notice reaction it automatically told me that he has no emotion what so ever. I think making a character like this makes people question other peoples emotions to see if people are really like that in our world and really don't care for anyone but their self. I don't really understand what Camus is proove on what a stranger is by making a character that has no emotion and care more for himself than other people.

Do we live in a world that is meaningful and makes sense?
What I think about this world is that nobody notices what is going on really. If you go around and ask people that question, they would give you a answer but its a high possibility that they never thought about that question until we asked. But I don't think it is really meaningful because a lot of people would look at the world a different way and try to make things right. If they were to do that then it would make sense that the world is meaningful.
In the movie I think they try to give good examples about how the world is meaningful and I think at the end when Albert figured out what was going on made the movie more interesting. I think that because he finally figured out that it was a scam for him to realize he has to make his own decisions and not have other people try to make for him.

Manifesto
In our world today a lot of people are not sure on their actions or sure about why they choose to dp certian things and this is why I think sometimes I feel no one doesm't understand our feelings. I think life would be much easier or could be easier if we were able to read other people minds and if we were to know if our happiness is based on us or by other people. Also what I find interesting is that is our appearance the way we dress our the way people wear make up based on us or what other people think.
In this world there are different styles of the way you dress and different styles of everything you do in this world. This kind of makes you think about if our appearance is based on us or by the other people. "Other people only see us from the outside, objectively, and, hard as we may try, we can only see them from the outside." To me this shows that people could be concern about how they look because other people can only judge them by the way they look on the outside. So in that case they dress a certain way where they think people might like so they can judge them in a good way.
If people were able to read minds I think people would be able to understand eachother more and everything would be easier. Also being able to read minds you woudln' thave to judge people by the way they look you would be able to read their minds and understand why they appear like that. "No one else can feel what we feel, and we cannot feel what is going on in any one else's mind." Not being able to read minds makes the world the way it is now because we can't tell what people are thinking and can't understand their feelings on the inside.
In conclusion the way we live is not perfect and we can't make it perfect because of all the wrong things going on. But if we were able to do all these things I think we would understand life much more easier and me less to oursleves and be able to express ourselves more to other people.

HW #3
What is the point of total freedom? Wouldn't it make the world worse? -Julie
I think the point of total freedom is to make the people feel that they can do anything that they want and nobody would come in your way no matter what the situation is. But in a way it will make the world worse because people will use that as a advantage to do certain things that could mess up the world and that wouldn't be good for the people. You wouldn't be able to stop them because they have total freedom and that gives them the right to what they are doing.
How will I see the world in ten years? -Jerald
In ten years I think my self and others probably think the world we have all these different technology and robots doing all the work like something similar to "iRobot" the movie but what I think is that things will be the same but we will have more advanced technology and some things will be more advance. There wouldn't be that much change to the world because there are certain things that need to change before we can make big moves like that to make the world any different and really advance. For one the crime rate has to go down a lot and we have to get out of this recession so we are able to make all these fancy robots and be able to make more advance technology.

HW#1 response
I agree with what Banach is trying to say because people only look at things base on what their eyes tell them not base on thought. "Other people only see us from the outside, objectively, and, hard as we may try, we can only see them from the outside." This quote is clear to me because he made me notice that I look at people in that way because I can't tell what they are feeling on the inside but I can judge them on how they are on the outside because that is what my eyes are transferring to me and making the image in my head. The only way in my point of view you can tell what some one is feeling inside is if you get to know them and get their view on life and compare it to your views.
